RE-ELECT FRANK BRUNO
SURROGATE.
Recognized as a national leader in his field, Frank Bruno has been elected four times to serve as the Somerset County Surrogate. Before being elected Surrogate, Frank served as member of the Bound Brook Borough Council, and was selected by his peers as Borough Council President from 1994-1998.
Frank lives in Branchburg with his wife Anita. The couple have two children. In addition to being a dedicated family man, Frank enjoyed an extensive career in the military and in the private sector before dedicating his time to public office. He served on the U.S.S. Randolph in the United States Navy from 1965-68. Frank had a robust 35-year career with Union Carbide, serving as a union officer in the Atomic & Chemical Workers.
Frank has advocated for veterans as a member of the Basilone Parade Committee, and has an extensive record of community involvement which includes: Italian-American Heritage Commission Advisory Board, Member; Former Radio Announcer for WDVR FM, host of the Rural Radio Show and Heartlands Hayride; Society for Industrial Archaeology, Member; Bound Brook Arts Theater, Board Member; Crafts of New Jersey, Member; Society of G.K. Chesterton, Member; Knights of Columbus, Somerville Council #1432, Member; Somerville Elks Lodge 1068, Member; Federalist Society, Member.
Frank is a leader in New Jersey and nationally, serving as a member of the Board of Trustees of the New Jersey Association of Counties. Frank is a past president of the National College of Probate Judges
